I have been seeing Franco for Sports Therapy at the Hampstead Chiropractic Clinic on a weekly or monthly basis over the last year. I had been suffering from chronic neck, hip and shoulder problems. Franco designed a rehabilitation programme for me which took account not only of my injuries, but also the fact that I was looking to achieve a high level of fitness both for specific sports and all-round health. It was particularly helpful that he was able to design this programme in conjunction with Dr van Dyk, my chiropractor. Although I have had gym and sports-based coaching for many years, Franco quickly identified certain muscular and postural imbalances which I was not aware of. He helped me to correct these with a series of exercises which he designed specifically for me. Franco varied the programme regularly so as to prevent me coasting, plateauing out or getting bored. As my muscles strengthened, the programme became more focussed on increasing strength/fitness rather than rehabilitation. He is clearly very knowledgeable in this field and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to someone looking to recover from an injury, manage a chronic condition, train for a sport or just improve their all-round fitness.
