Reflexology

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it hurt?

No. Whilst some reflexology practitioners use a deeper pressure, we use a light to medium pressure technique, enough to stimulate the pressure points but also induce a deep sense of relaxation and rebalancing. In fact many of our clients fall asleep during the treatment!

I have sensitive feet, will it be OK?

Yes, the pressure used will mean even if you have very sensitive or 'tickly' feet, your feet will not be stimulated in this way. Contrary to many people's expectations, because the pressure is firm, it is not ticklish.

How long does it last?

An appointment can last 1 hour, or we offer treatments for an hour and a half. The hour and a half treatments are our favourite treatments as they are more effective and beneficial. The first appointment may be a little longer as we will take details of your medical history. Everything you tell us as part of your medical history or during a treatment is entirely confidential.

How many will I need?

This depends on why you are having Reflexology. If Reflexology is purely for relaxation purposes, you may have reflexology as often as you desire. If the Reflexology is for a specific purpose (e.g. to aid pregnancy or for a particular symptom), then we will advise you on the frequency of treatment needed to get the best results.

'I have had reflexology from Hari a number of times and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. I had expected a foot massage but I left the treatment room feeling completely relaxed and calm, having had all my worries gently softened... totally de-stressed. Hari made me feel at ease and I quickly became relaxed and soothed. I'm looking forward to my next treatment. Thank you.'
